Skyway = Hellway?

According to the news, it happened at around 11 AM. Yung Dimple Star bus na papuntang Sucat-Alabang ay nahulog from Skyway to in front of DB Schenker dito sa Sucat (see the map below). I was somehow sleepy that I didn’t notice the commotion at all. Nalaman ko lang yung balita when I arrived home from work. Tapos naalala ko nga yung gulo kanina. Super scary😦.

3 ang namatay (bus driver at 2 passenger). Initial reports tells that the bus was speeding so fast on Skyway pero sabi ng nakaligtas na konduktor na malakas ang hangin ang tumulak sa bus para mahulog. Very doubtful kasi kung ganun kalakas, sana pati yung ibang sasakyan at yung mga billboards naapektuhan. Watch the report from GMA News here for more details.

Ang hindi ko ma-take, may nangyaring aksidente na nga, may nagnakaw pa ng mga bakal na nasira from Skyway. Tsk tsk.

Plus, as of that day, there were 30 reported accident reports from the metro, probably because it was triggered by Tropical Storm Juaning’s heavy downpour.

Early this year, nabalita yung Buendia bus explosion tapos ngayon yung sa Skyway. Medyo nakakatrauma yung mga pangyayari since I usually take a bus when going to work and heading home.

I think this is a fair warning for everyone, particularly the bus drivers. Nakakanerbyos. Ang Skyway at Expressways (even on other streets) ay hindi palaruan o karerahan. Ika nga, nasa Diyos ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa. Kahit ordinary, aircon, with e-Pass or wala, Php 30 or Php 25 na lang, walang pinipili ang kamatayan kung hindi nag-iingat.

Condolence to all the families, relatives, and friends of the victims.

Be safe, everyone.

Hot like Mexico, rejoice!
